As the CEO of GAMA Business Travel, Michael is responsible for running all facets of the business. Michael has a proven record in the Travel Management Industry for 20 yrs, beginning as a teen right out of school. Michael started learning the ropes at a small family owned travel agency, and decided from there to begin University at Haifa University, pursuing a degree in Business and Tourism. From there Michael secured positions in travel, as well as operations at a global firm, which ultimately led to his relocation to the United States. Michael’s vision and experience brought him to GAMA where he works as a leader and alongside the team. Michael lives in parkland, FL with his wife and 3 girls.
Amir is the COO of GAMA Business travel, with this title comes many responsibilities. As the COO, He is in charge of directing the Company to meet budget and other financial goals. He assesses, develops and establishes policies for senior management in order to support overall business objectives and plans. He possesses a solid working knowledge of the business strategies with previous experience ranging from Public Relations and Media to Politics and television. He also served three years in the Israeli Army as a press officer. Amir holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Hebrew University and a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications from West Virginia University.
As Director of Accounts, Mickey oversees all aspects of our Clientele accounts. From implementation through the life of the account Mickey ensures that our client is satisfied and happy with the services GAMA provides. Mickey brings with her 20 years of experience in all aspects of Account Services as well as business management. Mickey Shuman comes to GAMA from the corporate housing industry where she spent 4 years as a General Manager working with closely corporate travel personnel on a daily basis. Mickey also volunteers her time as a board member for the local Business Travel Association, keeping our South Florida professionals keyed in to where the industry has been and is headed.
Mickey hails from Chicago and has lived in the Miami area with her husband and 4 children for 15 years. Mickey earned a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in International Business and Management, she graduated Valedictorian of her program at Florida International University in 2005. Her hobbies when not working, and managing her family, include cooking, and blogging.
Cheryl is the Manager Human Resources & Office at GAMA Business Travel. Prior to joining GAMA Business Travel, she owned and operated her own travel agency for 18 years in New Jersey before relocating to Florida. Additionally, she brings many years of experience working in the corporate environment of many different facets, i.e., Healthcare, Real estate and Construction. Throughout GAMA’s spectacular growth, Cheryl’s responsibilities grew and changed. She is an executive manager who empowers others to succeed and provides the environment with motivation to help them excel. In addition to dedication and achievements at GAMA Business Travel, Cheryl is also committed to her family. Throughout her daughter’s formative years, she supported her activities in both athletics and academics.
